Wow! Sisters Wilderness is beautiful. It's great to be traveling through great scenery w/o having to get our butts kicked in the process.
The Sisters Wilderness is a volcanic wonderland, save for the hot lava. Several mountains/volcanos make up the attraction here. Three main peaks are the centerpiece. North Sister, Middle Sister and South Sister. They're surrounded by other peaks such as the Husband, The Wife and The Brothers. Pretty cool to see the entire lava-ble family in once place.
Hiked past a bunch of weekenders enjoying the same terrain. Lots of day hikers as well. Definitely reccommend coming here if you want lots of bang for your buck.
Arrived in the town of Sisters after wandering the road for a hitch. Finally McDonald's and a shower after 9 days.
