Woke up this morning sometime around 7am. Was nice to sleep in.
Ran around town taking care of the standard town chores - Post office, grocery store, gear shop.
Sure was a busy day. South Lake Tahoe is spread out so a lot of time was spent walking from destination. Makes a day off the trail seem like a bit like a day of work.
Ran into Papa Smurf and Bamboo Bob as we were headed back to our room after chores. We hiked with them in the past and really enjoyed their company.
Later that evening, we joined time and Bruce Bowder for dinner. We had a blast swapping stories of the trail with each other. Thanks again Bruce for dinner!
All the day's work seemed well worth it to hang out and shoot the breeze with out fellow hikers.
